Information Permissions Post
With gods, psychics, and rabid fangirls roaming our community ICly, the questions arise: how much of another character's canon does a character have access to? Are there things a player would rather keep under wraps? And are there things that omniscients should know about your character?
Please respond to this post with any information characters should know ICly (for example, if they can read minds) or that you'd prefer to keep secret (like your character's alter-ego).
When in doubt, the best rule of thumb is to contact a player before making any revelations about their characters. Sure, your character reads manga and knows that Light is Kira -- but maybe the mun wants to try and keep it under wraps.

Information: Is a magical girl with water powers (Cure Aqua) and four allies--so this doesn't get too long-winded, just contact if you need details. Also knows Kaito's secret identity, but you'd want Styx's permission for that, not mine.
Accessible to: Mind readers, anyone who actually sees her transform (of course), and people who live on a normal Earth around 2007-2008 and would logically be knowledgeable about Sunday morning anime aimed at little girls (or have reason to research them online).
Please contact mun before: Making any public reference to Karen being Cure Aqua (or any other Yes! Pretty Cure 5 character's identity, since it's really not a difficult connection to make). Talking about Cure Aqua in a way that doesn't involve her identity is fine.

Information: He's a robot. He's got a built-in plasma cannon, and the ability to scan and (to an extent) reproduce technology, mainly weapons. He's working for the bad guys. He actually feels grateful to Dr. Wily for saving his life at one point. He'd rather be fighting alongside Mega Man than against him.
Accessible to: For the robot thing, the weapon thing, and the bad guy thing, people who are familiar with the cartoon will know, and people familiar with the video games (or from Bass's world) can guess, but he's not really secretive about any of these. Feelings are for omnisicents and people he tells only.
