With gods, psychics, and rabid fangirls roaming our community ICly, the questions arise: how much of another character's canon does a character have access to? Are there things a player would rather keep under wraps? And are there things that omniscients should know about your character?
Please respond to this post with any information characters should know ICly (for example, if they can read minds) or that you'd prefer to keep secret (like your character's alter-ego).
When in doubt, the best rule of thumb is to contact a player before making any revelations about their characters. Sure, your character reads manga and knows that Light is Kira -- but maybe the mun wants to try and keep it under wraps.
Still have a question? Ask a mod!

Player AIM: ZieglerFan719
Character: Princess Azula
Character Journal:
Information: She doesn't have any huge secrets, but she is not a trusting person (nor is she by any means trustworthy), and therefore often keeps things guarded. She's also a very skilled liar (canonly she can lie without any emotional or physical symptoms- heartbeat/pulse quickening out of nervousness or guilt, etc- so she could easily pass a lie detector test that relies on that sort of thing), though obviously, common sense can reveal a lie in some cases ("Why, of course I wouldn't use any technology/weapons you give me to further my country's goal of world domination! :D :D").
Accessible to: Anyone with that sort of power. I'm fine with psychics and the like- since she's not used to dealing with them (and has never really expected to encounter one), she hasn't bothered to learn how to guard her mind against them (she's paranoid, but not *that* paranoid), and so her thoughts/feelings would basically be an open book. If your character's a psychic and you want them to know what she's *really* thinking as she's talking to them (for your guy's personal knowledge, so they can screw around with her, whatever), just tell me and I'll be happy to oblige.
Please contact mun before: Fourth-wall breakage. I'm generally fine with the concept, but I'd rather handle it on a case-by-case basis.
Character: Lisa Rowe
Character Journal:
Information: No big secrets. I guess the most important would be that she's a sociopath, and has fairly shallow/confused emotions- and while she'll readily volunteer this information, she generally doesn't let on that it annoys/bothers her more than she says it does.
Accessible to: Same basic idea as in Azula's permissions. *lol lazy*
Please contact mun before: Fourth-wall breakage.
Character: Harriet Frankovitch.
Character Journal:
Information: Nothing big.
Accessible to: See above. *laaaazy*
Please contact mun before: Fourth-wall breakage- though in this character's case, I'll probably say no, just because (pfft, it's not like anyone's seen the movie anyway XD).
