Information Permissions Post
With gods, psychics, and rabid fangirls roaming our community ICly, the questions arise: how much of another character's canon does a character have access to? Are there things a player would rather keep under wraps? And are there things that omniscients should know about your character?
Please respond to this post with any information characters should know ICly (for example, if they can read minds) or that you'd prefer to keep secret (like your character's alter-ego).
When in doubt, the best rule of thumb is to contact a player before making any revelations about their characters. Sure, your character reads manga and knows that Light is Kira -- but maybe the mun wants to try and keep it under wraps.

Character: Hok'Ton Karakael
Character Journal:
Information: He's a former Inquestor, ruled the Galaxy for five hundred years, has a bunch of adopted childsoldier bodyguards, committed suicide to rid the Dispersal of Man of the Inquests disease (and convinced a bunch of other people to follow him). He has a rather nasty backstory that he tried to repress for most of his Inquestoral life. It was revealed in a way that was even more emotionally scarring, and he still hasn't quite forgiven Vara for it. He also can't have children, or age. And he was responsible for the destruction of quite a few planets during his reign.
Accessible to: Psychics and gods, any one he's expressly spoken to about it, as well as anyone who could logically find a copy of The Throne of Madness.
Please contact mun before: Doing a big reveal about his backstory. Not only does it touch on basically everything in the 'sensitive subjects' post, it also would be extremely traumatizing for the character.
As a side note: Karakael prescribes to the 'World as a Myth' philosophy. So feel free to break the fourth wall around him.

Information: Sound nin, top quality spy, currently on the run, is slowly turning into Orochimaru.
Accessible to: Psychics, gods, anyone he's spoken to about it/taken shelter from, some of the Naruto caste.
Please contact mun before: Revealing that he's turning into his Master. No problem with fourth-wall-breakage, he's aware he's in a manga, but doesn't particularly care.

Information: She's one of the Last Children, has been on the run since a young child, saw her brother killed by Ban, is an expert at poisons and perfumes,
has a slight crush on AkabaneAccessible to: Gods, psychics. Anyone who's seen her fight, or could logically have access to her cannon.
Please contact mun before: Mentioning either the bit about the Last Children or her relationship with her partner. No breaking the fourth wall either, it would probably disturb the poor girl to no end.
The Visitor has no secrets; she finds them pointless.
