Character: Nena Trinity Fandom: Gundam 00 Character Notes: History: Nena is the pilot of Gundam Throne Drei, the third of a group of three Gundams piloted by the Trinity siblings. Her first appearance was when she and her siblings rescued Celestial Being from a brutal combined attack by the forces of the three major Earth collaboratives. Very little is known about their team; they seemingly appeared out of nowhere, and there is no information about them in the databanks of Veda, Celestial Being’s supercomputer and information source. Although they are gundam pilots whose goal is to eradicate war, their methods are much more extreme than Celestial Being’s; at one point they destroy the better part of a military base to kill one man who learned too much, and most of their missions involve reckless killing of those affiliated with the military rather than interventions in specific conflicts.
Personality: Nena usually comes off as cheerful and bubbly, and is generally very outspoken. She shares her brother Mihael’s dislike for policies such as “the enemy are people too so maybe we shouldn’t kill unless it’s necessary”, claiming to not like men who are too soft. (Both this and her extreme impulsiveness are shown when she kisses Setsuna upon first meeting him, claiming to like his recklessness in battle.) She’s rather self-centered and spoiled; at some points her self-centeredness borders on trigger-happy sociopathy, as she cheerfully giggles while mowing down enemies because it’s personally entertaining.
Other: There are hints that Nena, and by extension the rest of her siblings, may not be quite human; Nena is easily able to break into and connect with the terminal unit that Tieria uses to interface directly with Veda’s databanks.
First Person (entry type): Waaa, look what Haro found! He poked around at all the signals coming from everyone’s computers when we went to visit them, and once I saw this site I knew I definitely had to join! I don’t want to be left out of the fun, you know? Especially since Haro said that Miha-nii was on here already, and everyone else that we just met.
I’m Nena Trinity. Nice to meet you all! I’d tell you lots more, but Nii-san said I shouldn’t tell everyone too much about myself, so it’ll be a secret, hee~
Setsunaaa? You’re on here, right~? ♥
Third Person: Prompt: family
Nena’s favorite thing in the world was a mission. It wasn’t just knowing that they were doing something to change the world, more than Celestial being, sitting around talking about “not killing civilians” and “intervention when necessary”. Jeez, didn’t they know that nothing would change if they stuck with that? Force was the only way to do it, not wishy-washy hand-wringing about right and wrong.
It wasn’t just fighting either. She loved it, of course, pulling the trigger and watching the ground burn and people run screaming out of collapsing buildings, the thrill of it and the destruction it caused.
But what really made missions wonderful was hearing one of her brothers screaming defiance over the comm system and the other calmly giving orders, working with them in formation so well they knew what to do before the enemy even reacted. There was nothing better than seeing her eldest brother’s calm smile and hearing the younger one’s cheers after another mission successfully completed. They were all she had, but they were all she needed, her brothers and their Gundams.

Character: San, also known as Princess Mononoke Fandom: Princess Mononoke Character Notes:
History: San is the human "daughter" of the wolf spirit, Moro. Raised from an infant among the wolf spirits, San came to see herself as a wolf. Much of her past is mysterious beyond that. We are introduced to her after the main character, Ashitaka, sees her in the forest.
However, much of what of we know of her is that she and the rest of the wolf spirits are at almost constant war with the local iron mill town of Iron Town, led by the fierce Lady Eboshi. Her reasoning for this is that the town is poisoning the forest she lives in and thus must be evil.
Personality: San is headstrong and fierce. She doesn't seem to like humans very much and denies herself as one. Her family of wolves don't see her as a human, either, and so that idea hasn't been challenged except by other humans. In fact, it's not very hard to say that she hates the humans of Iron Town with a strong passion. Lady Eboshi in particular is the brunt of her anger. San and her wolf mother, Moro, both wish to murder Eboshi and it seems like an obsession at times. She is very protective of the forest she lives in and all the animals and spirits living in it, she'd put down her life for any of them.
Other: San is also sometimes called "Princess Mononoke", or "Princess Angry Spirit" by the villagers of Iron Town, probably due to her almost constant attacks on their leader and mysterious history. I'm also saying that she doesn't quite understand how to read or wite, so most of her posts will be voice. She, after all, was raised by wolves.
First Person (entry type): Bah, what is this thing? My brother found it. It doesn't look like food. Probably human-made. Stupid humans, why do they have to make something as useless as this black box? I don't even know what those stupid squiggly lines on the box are.
Hmph.
Wouldn't put it pass the stupid gun woman Eboshi to lay this in the forest. Probably some kind of poison, I don't recognize it, though. Mother might know. Maybe I should just throw it in the river. Let the fish take care of it. I see pictures, though. What do they mean? Just a bunch of gibberish. Bah, useless.
I hear my mother calling. A hunt seems to be ready. Good, this thing is giving me a headache.
Third Person: Prompt: Wind
The wind would always blow into the forest from the direction of the human town, bringing the stench of smoke and human civilization into the normally peaceful forest. It made San sick just thinking about it. Before, it smelt of the lake. Pure and slightly stinking of fish. She did't care for fish but the smell was alright, just not her taste. Some of te birds ate the fish and that was good.
But the wind didn't just bring smells, it also could carry sounds to hunt for prey. San couldn't hear or smell as well as her brothers or mother but she could hold her own on a hunt. With her spear and knife she fashioned herself, any prey that was found within reach was hers.
It was a simple life, perhaps, and maybe she could have been called "naive" in the ways of her true kin, humans. But that didn't matter. San was a wolf through and through even if she didn't look like it.
That was good enough for her and that's all she wanted.

Character: Astro Boy Fandom: Astro Boy (1980's version) Character Notes: History: Astro Boy is a boy robot created in the image of Dr. Boynton's late son Toby, who died in a car accident. While Astro initially acted in place of Toby, his robot side kept coming through (usually through accidental destruction of things due to his great strength) and, in a fit of rage one night, Boynton declared he wasn't his real son and threw him away. Astro was soon swept up by the owner of a robot circus who tricked him into signing a contract, and he was thus stolen (never to see Boynton again, who later regretted what he'd said, but... ). Astro worked in the circus under few rights until he was seen by one Dr. Elefun, leader of the Board of Science, who managed to break the contract and set Astro free.
Ever since then he's been working to save the city from all sorts of threats, including (but not limited to) aliens, ghosts, rogue environmentalists (I don't know either), and a mysterious robot called Atlas. Astro has also been given a robot mother and father, as well as a sister, and when not fighting all manner of baddies he goes to school just like any regular boy. Personality: Upbeat. Astro is really happy, optimistic, friendly, caring, and would take off his own head if he thought it'd please a friend. He has absolutely no room in his heart for evil though and will get serious when it counts, although if possible he'll try to talk the Evil of the Day over to the side of good. Other: HE'S THE FATHER TO YOU AAAAALLLLL. *shot* Additional Links: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Astro_Boy_(1980_TV_series)
First Person (entry type): Hello everybody! Oh, I've missed you all! I've peeked in every now and again, but I've been really super busy and haven't been able to post anything. But it's alright now, so here I am! I hope everyone is still alright. I know the viruses are still affecting the community, which is bad... But I guess it's not so bad, some of them looked kind of interesting.
Oh! I guess I'd better introduce myself in case there's some new people here. My name is Astro Boy! And I'm a little boy robot, and I have a mother, and father, and a sister named Uran. I protect the city I live in, and sometimes even the whole world~ But I have to go to school too, but that's okay, I don't mind it.
Well, I guess that's it for now! Nice to meet any new people, and I can't wait to get to talk to my old friends again!
Third Person: Prompt: Books
The desk thudded slightly when his forehead hit the surface of it. A moment later Astro sat up and winced, rubbing the sore spot. He sighed and leaned on one hand, twiddling the pencil in his mouth as he stared at the textbook open in front of him.
Although he was a robot, he still had to learn about the world and the way to do that was to go to school. The problem was, school meant classes, and classes meant homework. And tonight's lessons were being particularly difficult. Sighing, Astro idly glanced up his bedroom wall, sighing through his nose. He had to ask for help, but from who?
The first people that came to mind were, of course, his parents. But that thought was dismissed a moment later, mostly because his father was going to school too (considering his father was built after he was, making him technically younger, that actually makes sense. Kind of). Next came Dr. Elefun, who was the smartest man Astro knew, but that didn't work either on account of how he was out of town on "science stuff." His teacher might help though. Astro smiled, then pushed away from the desk and took his textbook with him, heading into another part of the house to use the phone.

Character: Wilhelm Fandom: Ludwig Revolution/Ludwig Kakumei Character Notes: A gulliable but good hearted young man who was exploted by the people of his home village, who played upon his willingness to help those in need by making him do their share of work. Having many older brothers, he only wished to be useful and so endured the comments of his 'dull and stupid' nature with a smile. Prince Ludwig became his playmate and took up his time, demanding Wilhelm do almost everything for him. This saved him from the villagers. However Lisette, Wil's childhood friend who saw him as hers, did not like it at all. Tragic events led Lisette to become the 'Little Red Riding Hood', an assasian for hire. In her absense, Wil become Prince Ludwig's full time attendent.
Years later and the Prince sets out on a journey to find himself a wife, dragging Wilhelm along to take care of everything.
Wilhelm identifies himself as "Lui-sama's finest servant". Without people, he would not know what to do. He lives to serve; all of this thoughts are on the well being of others.
Long black hair, mostly left unbound; slim; European-tranditional cloths; he dresses well but favors a more moderate style to Ludwig's flamoyant outfits.
The Prince wants detailed, erm, measurements of the local girls again, never mind that they are not royalty. He's certainly not picky. Not a one fits his precise expectations.
I don't want to disappoint Lui-sama. Not that he should be asking such things in the first place. Rosemarie, the miller's daughter, is something close to his...preferences. She is not q-quite up to size, however. Teresa, who the tailor’s orphaned niece, is, well, close enough, and I suppose the Prince would like to hear of her...
I cannot return to the Prince until I find someone suitable! He’ll flay me alive if I don’t! B-but there aren’t many young, eligible women in this town, so should I then scourer the next one over? It’s half a day’s journey, but surely if I take the horse…
I’ve been walking through the small town square, thinking these thoughts, and suddenly the driver of the wagon just ahead reins in his horse abruptly, jerking to a halt two feet from running over a child who’d just run out into the road. Parcels have been thrown from the back of the wagon, scattered across the ground now. The man himself was nearly thrown.
I would haven helped the man pick up his things, if anger had not clouded his face as he jumped from his seat and stalked purposefully toward the perpetrator. Instead, I had only eyes for the child.
Hurrying forward, I cut the angry man off and kneel down by the boy now covered in dust, checking him over for broken bones. Only a few cuts and bruises, and I sigh in relief.
The man is not happy the I have interfered.
He starts yelling at the child, who cowers from him, hiding behind me. I shield him with my body as best I can, apologizing in his stead.
The man turns a deeper shade of red even as I plead with him.
He bellows something that sounds more like a shout of rage than actual words, and raises a hand to hit the child. I shield the poor boy with my body and take the blow. The poor thing is shivering.
It lands and he proceeds to kick me a few times; it does not hurt nearly as much as Lui-sama’s punishments. I don’t care if the man hits me, as long as the child is all right.
He gets bored soon enough and stalks off, more irritated than angry, and drives his cart around us.
I ask the boy if he’s all right. He says yes, and thanks me shy with a smile. The child scampers off before I can take him home myself.
I look down at my dusty, mud splattered clothes and feel the bruises forming across my back and shoulders. At least the boy is all right.
I walk down the road again, careful not to jar my shoulder as a particularly heavy bruise is centered. I’ll look for some sort of bath house, a place to wash my clothes; I have enough money. I do not want to trouble Lui-sama, and I need to continue my search.

Character: Leon Scott Kennedy Fandom: Resident Evil
Character Notes: History: Leon is one of the main protagonists of the Resident Evil series. He started in the second Resident Evil game, where he was a rookie cop that had just started on the job and was coming into his first day on the force when the T-virus outbreak occurred. (What luck.) After finding out about the city’s situation, he, along with Claire Redfield, fought his way out of the city, meeting several other survivors along the way, including Ada Wong and Sherry Berkin, the daughter of one of Umbrella Pharmaceutical’s main researchers and also one of the main bosses of the game. During the mission, Ada is severely injured and supposedly falls to her death, where Leon grieves for her and blames himself for not being able to protect her. However, he still keeps moving, knowing that it would only be a matter of time before the President would issue the order for the city to be “sterilized” via missile.
He, Claire, and Sherry meet up again to face off against the mutated William in an underground train tunnel, finally defeating him with the help of who’s suspected to be Ada, who gives him (or Claire, depending on the scenario) a rocket launcher. The trio escape the tunnel just before the self-destruct sequence is initiated and end up being picked up by the U.S. government.
After the incident, Leon makes a deal with the government and takes part in several Anti-Umbrella missions, mostly helping behind the scenes. He even sends an e-mail with Claire’s whereabouts to her brother Chris during Code: Veronica. During his training and work in the anti-Umbrella group, he befriends Jack Krauser, who then fakes his death in a helicopter crash in 2002. Through this incident, Leon finds the strength to keep going and training to be one of the best agents in the nation.
Two years later, the President’s daughter, Ashley Graham, is kidnapped by a religious cult known as Los Illuminados. Initially assisted by two local cops, who are promptly killed by the townspeople, Leon then digs deeper to find out what exactly has been happening to the people of the village that he ends up in. He finds out that they are being controlled by a parasite known as Las Plagas, and at one point, he is injected with one himself. Not knowing what this exactly entails until later, he continues on and eventually finds Ashley in a church and the two continue on to try and find a way out of this whole mess.
Unfortunately, it’s about around that time that Leon realizes that both he and Ashley are infected with Las Plagas, and if they do not find a cure and soon, they will end up becoming brainwashed slaves to Osmund Saddler, the leader of Los Illuminados. During this time, he finds out that Krauser is indeed alive and gets into two separate fights with him during this time. He also finds out that Ada, who he thought was dead after the events of Resident Evil 2, was also still alive, but working for her own agenda. He eventually ends up getting rid of the Plagas within both himself and Ashley thanks to a machine that was developed by Luis Sera, a former researcher in Los Illuminados.
Finally, Leon confronts Saddler and ends up being helped by Ada once again, where she ends up tossing him a specialized rocket launcher in order to defeat Saddler. Once he’s defeated, Leon then goes to take a Plagas sample from him in order to show the government, but Ada takes it from him at gunpoint. However, she gives him keys to a jetski, which he and Ashley use to escape the island research facility they were at before it was completely destroyed.

Character: Arcee
Fandom: Transformers
Character Notes: Arcee is unique in that she is one of the only female robots in the Transformers continuity. Elita, Moonracer, Chromia, Firestar, and a few other unamed femmes made it into one episode in the G1 cartoon, but Arcee is the only recurring femme. Her exact nature and how she is female is highly debated, but she continues to be one of the most popular Autobot's to date, even earning her own spotlight (and one explanation as to her gender!) <http://transformers.wikia.com/wiki/spotlight:_arcee>. I would play Arcee slightly off this (angry) persona, coupled with her movie background of her activities at Tyger Pax, relationship with Bumblebee, movieverse, etc.

Sample Post:
Alright. Internet is back up and running. Two questions: How goes the war, and what the frag is a drama duck?
Besides that, my landing here didn't go so well. I admit I probably could have pulled off something much...smoother and less squishy, whoops, but 'time is of the essence', as Prime used to say. Where is he, anyway? I got his commumication a year ago few months back (yeah you realize a few 'Cons might've gotten that too?) and I took my time hurried here as fast as possible to be of assistance. I /hope/ he realizes that I am ENRAGED slightly peeved that I had to leave Springer and the Wreckers, and in landing here my navigation was ALL screwed up so it took me QUITE some time to even get my internet back up and running.
In the meantime, I've been chillin' in Cabo here for a few months. I rather like the view. Although I /suppose/ I should get on it and report in and see what there is left to do, find out where Megatron is, that sort of thing.
Arcee had always /liked/ the feeling of wind coursing through her frame. Sometimes, if you got the right angle, you could get it to blow the dust right out of all those bothersome nooks and crannies that made up her systems. Course, on Earth, it was a bit more difficult to do that in robot mode, unless she happened to be standing in a wind tunnel. So for now, she had to simply rely on zooming the interstate in bike mode. The whole secrecy slag Optimus insisted on keeping up. Silly charade, really, because Arcee had /heard/ about the battle in Mission City and it had been anything but secret. They had fought it in the middle of the road, for Primus' sake!
As Arcee dove in and out of cars; her hologram was firmly gripping the handle bars (she had to fit in, didn't she?) and looking rather at home on the fuchsia motorbike. Pushing thoughts of the war and Springer out of her mind, she concentrated on enjoying her temporary freedom on the road, and the wind that was caressing her circuits. /This/ is what freedom felt like.
Hey there. Just a note to say that I had put in an application that seems to have been left behind on the last post over here. (http://tripled-mods.livejournal.com/8952.html?thread=3740408#t3740408) ♥ Sorry for the trouble!

Character: Lucia Fandom: Devil May Cry Character Notes: History: An demon/human hybrid created in an experiment by a sorcerer named Arius, she was originally named 'Chi.' However, he discarded her after discovering she was a defect. A kind human woman named Matier saved her from death, however, and she was raised by her as a warrior and protector of Vie de Marli, an island with a unique culture and knowledge of demon lore.
For many years Lucia did not know about the circumstances of her birth. She believed her unusual powers and DT form came from magical blood passed down by the ancestors of the people of Vie de Marli, who had once fought alongside the Dark Knight Sparda. Only when Arius began his plan to resurrect an ancient and evil demon named Argosax did she come to learn the truth. After inviting Dante, son of Sparda, to Vie de Marli on Matier's orders, she sought out special artifacts to ensure Argosax remained sealed (this was supposed to be Dante's job, but Lucia wished to do it herself) and met Arius, who told her the full truth and introduced her to a successful hybrid, who bore the same face as Lucia.
Lucia plunged into despair, fearing she would one day be consumed by her demon powers and turned into a being who attacked humans. However, after saving her from Arius's clutches after she went after him and got captured, Dante reassured her this was not so. Matier also talked to Lucia and told her that they might not be related by blood, but they were mother and daughter in every way it really mattered; through experiences and events they had gone through together. Still unsure of herself, Lucia followed Dante to the hellgate where she attacked him and begged him to kill her; again, he told her that her blood would not dictate her future and what she would be. When she cried, he told her the words that really gave her the will to live again - 'devils never cry.'
Dante went into the hellgate to defeat the Embodiment of Despair, Argosax's true form, which had been awoken despite the ritual Arius had been attempting to use to resurrect it not being completed. Worried he might not return but doing as he asked, Lucia stayed behind, but Arius came after her, consumed by a part of Argosax's spirit. He called her Chi and said she would one day attack those dear to her, but she told him that her name was Lucia, and devils never cried. Defeating him for good, she then went to wait for Dante's return from the hellgate, believing that he would return no matter what. He had inspired her to live, and in return, she had gained an unbreakable faith in him.
Personality: Lucia has a somewhat calm and serious personality, nurtured by her upbringing as a warrior and guardian of humans. She is never one to come out with wit or humour during a fight with an enemy, preferring to speak with her blades unless words are absolutely necessary. When she has decided someone has a dark heart, she never shows any mercy towards them, but neither does she judge someone to have a dark heart quickly. Not one who makes rash decisions (most of the time). It takes a lot to get her angry, but when she IS angry, you know she has good cause to be.
Basically, though, Lucia is kind and thoughtful and always has the interests of those she protects at heart. She absolutely hates the thought of anything happening to her that could hinder her duties as a guardian. Once she thought that her demon blood might turn her against humans and this thought made her want to die; however, Dante persuaded her otherwise. There is still sometimes a hint of fear that it could happen deep inside her, but she keeps this insecurity well hidden, and she still hates Arius deeply. Prone to depression at times, understandably.
Other: As a demon hybrid, Lucia has a 'Devil Trigger' in which she can turn into a harpy-like devil. In this form, her abilities are increased and she can fly. A talented warrior, she fights using two blades and throwing knives and is extremely swift in battle.
Slender and beautiful, with a head of bright red hair, brown eyes and tanned skin.
First Person (entry type): I... have never posted anywhere like this before, but Matier has encouraged me to connect with other people across the world. Why I chose this particular place, well, as stupid as it sounds, a community named 'DramaDramaDuck' seems like the sort of place a friend of mine might join. Dante, on the small chance you're here, say hello, hmm?
Anyway, let me introduce myself. My name is Lucia, one of the Protectors of Vie de Marii. It is an island whose people I am proud to belong to; we have a great history and a way of life that has survived through many centuries without being destroyed by the advances in the world. As a Protector, my duty is to protect all humans in this place from demon invasions, which we are prone to. Matier, who is my mother, raised me to be able to fulfill this obligation well; she once fought as an ally of the great Dark Knight Sparda, and was an incredible warrior herself.
There was a time when I knew doubt in myself and... what I am, but those feelings no longer exist within me. I am proud of what I am, and happy that I can fulfill my duty well and protect those that I love. To tell you of it is no shame to me at all.
Well, now that is done... why don't you introduce yourselves? Are there any other warriors out there? It would be interesting to discuss technique; I stick to blades and knives myself. In all honesty I have an advantage when I fight because of my special abilities, and can pull off techniques that a normal human could not, but that does not mean there are ways for those without my type of blood to make up for it. Arius proved that, though he fell, in the end, as he deserved.

Character: Queen Tamír II of Atyion Fandom: The Tamír Trilogy by Lynn Flewellyn
History: There is a prophecy in the country of Skala, laid down centuries before under the warrior Queen Ghërilain I, spoken by the Oracle of Afra. It reads: So long as a daughter of Thalátimos' line defends and rules, Skala shall never be subjugated. After mad Queen Agnalain, generations past Ghërilain, began killing on whim, the people were relieved to have any other ruler - even if that ruler was male. The newly crowned King Erius took the place of his sister, Ariani, who according to tradition should have reigned. But any dissension was silenced, and women and girl children of royal blood were prone to lethal accidents. The implication was clear, yet it was spoken of only in whispers. As Erius reigned, war with Plenimar dragged on, long and bloody and vicious, and plagues broke out, widespread, in Skala. Droughts left fields fallow, and people starved.
But Ariani was spared death by the love of her brother the king, and married Duke Rhius. When she became pregnant, they retreated to Alestun for the birthing, and she had twins. A trusted old wizard, Iya, had received a vision from the Oracle of Afra - one saying that she must stand by Ariani's child no matter what, and keep her safe so that some day she might rule. That in mind, she enlisted the aid of a witch of the wilds, Lhel, who killed the male child, passing it off to the world as a stillborn. Using her arcane magic, she sewed flesh to flesh and made the female baby appear in all ways male, to ensure her safety until she could take up the crown.
That girl was given the male name Tobin, and from then on lived in the remote keep at Alestun. Ariani, his mother, went mad with grief, aware of the crimes that had been committed, and sewed dolls day and night - including one she'd sewn on the birthing bed, with the dead infant's bones stuffed within. The dead child haunted the keep, called only Brother, causing vicious accidents and attacking those complicit in its death. Finally Ariani committed suicide, jumping out of a high tower, and years later Rhius died in a doomed battle, sent by the wicked wizard Niryn, adviser to the king. Tobin was left an orphan with no idea of his destiny, or his true form. With his squire Ki as a close, trusted friend, and his father's guard captain Tharis to protect him, he set off for the capital Ero to join the crown Prince Korin's Companions, as was his birth right.
After training there for a few years and finding his place among the Companions, still haunted by Brother and the memory of his parents, blood appeared on Tobin's genitals. Fearing the absolute worst - that he'd caught the plague, and would infect the entire Palatine - he fled to the woods of Alestun, where Lhel found him and revealed the truth. She reinforced the spell that kept him as a male, and told him that the time had not yet come for him to take his true form.
Some time later, Plenimar invaded Ero, taking the nation by surprise. Elsewhere, at his true home and holdings of Atyion, Tobin released the spell that bound him to her brother's spirit and claimed her lineage before the entire city. With literal naked proof before their eyes, the people of Atyion pleged loyalty to her, and she marched back with her army to Ero to save the capital. But newly named Tamír was too late. King Erius was dead, the city razed to the ground, and Korin, as new king, had fled the city, Niryn spewing poisonous lies into his ears. Believing Tobin to be a crazed usurper, and worse, a traitor, he holed up in the remote northern keep of Cirna.
With the Companions, close as brothers, split by loyalty and war, it would take the fulfillment of a prophecy to unite Skala and save it from both Plenimar and itself.

Character: Jill Valentine Fandom: Resident Evil Character Notes: History: A member of the RPD's special S.T.A.R.S. unit assigned to Alpha Team, she is a specialist in bomb disposal and has received special training from Delta Force. Considered resourceful and intelligent by her peers, she was already acquainted with fellow S.T.A.R.S. members, Chris Redfield and Forest Speyer, prior to joining S.T.A.R.S.
In June 1998, Alpha Team was deployed to Raccoon Forest in order to investigate the disappearance of Bravo Team. No long after their arrival, the team found the remains of Bravo Team's helicopter pilot and were quickly attacked by zombie dogs. After witnessing the death of member Joseph Frost, Alpha Team was abandoned by their helicopter pilot and the remaining members fled to a nearby mansion (the Spencer estate).
At first, the mansion seemed to had been deserted, but not long afterward, they discovered that all sorts of creatures and "Bio-Organic Weapons" were inhabiting the mansion. They also found the remains of their fallen Bravo Team compatriots. With the help of fellow Alpha Team member, Barry Burton, Jill discovered that the mansion was actually a front for a top-secret facility owned by the Umbrella Corporation. They also discovered that their captain, Wesker, plotted the whole operation in order to gather data on the BOWs' performances. Wesker also had Barry do his bidding by threatening his family. After Wesker was seemingly killed by one of his own creations, Jill and Barry escaped along with Chris and surviving Bravo Team member, Rebecca Chambers, leaving behind the ruins of Spencer Mansion and lab.
After their return to civilization, S.T.A.R.S. request for a full-scale investigation of Umbrella's activities was denied by their superior, Chief Brian Irons of the RPD. With not much else to do, Chris, Barry and Jill decided to travel to Europe and investigate Umbrella's main HQ instead.
Three months after the mansion incident, Jill was ready to make her trip to Europe, when the whole city was infected with the T-Virus. During her escape, she witnessed the death of Alpha Team's pilot, Brad Vickers, at the hands of "Nemesis", a BOW sent by Umbrella to assassinate the remaining S.T.A.R.S. members. Jill managed to thwart Nemesis temporarily and met with Carlos Oliveira, a surviving member of the UBCS along with Nicholai Ginovaef and Mikhail Viktor. However, Mikhail lost his life protecting Jill from Nemesis and Nicholai was presumed dead after a zombie attack. Jill and Carlos ended up in a nearby clock tower after their train collided off-course. During the following battle with Nemesis, Jill was infected with the Nemesis-Virus and lay in a semi-coma for a few hours.
Jill later recovered after being administered with a serum by Carlos. Jill discovered another of Umbrella's secret facility hidden behind a park. In there, she confronted Nicholai for the last time and fought with Nemesis once again. Jill successfully destroyed Nemesis with a top-secret weapon stored in the facility and managed to escape from the city with Carlos via helicopter. As they flew away, Jill witnessed the destruction of Raccoon City, as the Government decided to prevent the spread of the T-Virus by launching a nuclear strike.
Jill, Barry and Carlos became involved in various Anti-Umbrella activities up until Umbrella was officially shutdown by the Government.
Personality: Jill is a fighter by nature. She can brawl, drink, and stick it out with the best of them. Tenacity could be considered her middle name. But she also has a soft side—especially when it comes to her friends or teammates. She's remarkably stable for all she’s been through, with a very healthy emotional state and a calm, clever way of looking at situations. Also, she tries to look at the bright side of things, and she has a strong sense of justice. Other: Additional Links: Jill's Resident Evil Wiki. (http://residentevil.wikia.com/wiki/Jill_Valentine)
First Person (entry type): So Umbrella is finished. Gone. I had hoped that we, the remaining S.T.A.R.S and those whom had joined us would finally be relieved of bullshit, to put it bluntly. No more fighting. We could try and rebuild our lives.
I went out during the night, just to do some late night shopping as I barely get the time to go out during the days, and as I wandered through a small shop, eying the glassware with disinterest, the sky began to glow red and it came closer, like an explosion and covered everyone. The last thing I remember was shouts of confusion. I have since awoken, alone in this place. It's a graveyard, so it seems and there is no pun in this but everything seems dead. I've been walking for ages and I can't find anyone or anything. It's barren.
I refuse to believe that after 6 years of fighting...Damn it, I'm going to look for others. I'm going to try and find someone. I need to know that everyone is okay. I need to know whats going on. Need to find someone who has a clue...
Third Person: From a distance, the boarded-up bar looked like a safe haven, but Jill knew the eyes could be deceiving.
Nevertheless, she didn’t have a choice. She had to take her chances; she was running low on ammo and the moans of distant zombies closing in on her scent were getting closer. Pressing herself up against the wall beside the bar’s main entrance, she laid her hand on the doorknob and, experimentally, tried to turn it.
Unlocked.
Jill frowned apprehensively. Either it was barricaded somehow on the other side, or whoever had boarded-up the windows had moved on to another location. Or met with a grisly end because of something within. In any case, she braced herself. With a quick twist of her wrist, she threw the door open. Pivoting on her right heel, she aimed—hand over hand—and stared down the barrel of her gun.
. . Right at nothing.
While outside the bar had been so prepared for a zombie onslaught, the interior looked as though it hadn’t been touched since the last night of being fully operational. Empty beer glasses sat unattended on tables. Ashtrays were full. Over the bar countertop, a turned-on television spurted white noise restlessly.
Despite how calm the waters seemed, Jill didn’t let down her guard. Gun still at the ready, she ambled forward at a cautious pace.
“Hello?” she called out. “Anyone here?”
Her only answer was the white noise from the television.
With baited breath, she kept moving. Eventually, her creaking footfalls brought her to the counter top, where she began to hear something else besides the mindless box hanging over her head: A dulled, throaty growling.
Her gaze slowly lowered to where, just behind the counter top, a zombie dog sat baring its teeth at her. Exhaling slowly, Jill aimed for it. She was just about to pull the trigger when more growls joined the creature behind the counter top. She didn’t have to turn her head to know that two more zombie dogs had come out of hiding places to her rear.
"Oh, great . ."
Reacting on adrenaline, she fired at the zombie dog behind the counter, managing to hit it lethally in the cerebrum. Its companions’ growls grew more fierce and vengeful. They lunged at Jill as she mounted the counter top and rolled over its other side. She landed hard on the flat of her back but ignored a singing pain in one of her joints as she propelled herself to her feet and aimed—once more—as the second zombie dog mounted the counter top in hot pursuit. Its jaws, inches away from her face, snapped viciously. Jill stumbled back a step, nearly tripping over the still corpse of the first zombie dog, but she didn’t lose her aim. She fired twice, and the bullets nestled themselves in her target as it gave a startled, final yelp.
The last creature circled the counter top instead of following the example of the second. Aggressively, it crept closer to Jill, who leveled her gun at it and squeezed its trigger.

Character: Sanosuke "Sano" Sagara Fandom: Rurouni Kenshin (manga-verse) Character Notes: History: Sonosuke was born and raised during the bloody final years of the Edo Period of Japan known as the Bakumatsu. As an idealistic and determined boy who wanted to end the war and bring peace to his country, he left his home as a child and joined a faction of the Ishin Shishi known as the Sekihotai. During his time with the Sekihotai, he came to admire the leader of this small army— Sagara Sozo (he admired him so much that he eventually took on Sozo’s last name as his own). Little did poor Sanosuke know that the Sekihotai was a scapegoat for the Ishin Shishi, and that the small army was to be decimated for a crime they didn’t commit. Sozo sacrificed his life for Sano’s, and because of the Ishin Shishi betrayal Sano grew up despising them and the Meiji government. He became a fighter-for-hire and wandered around Tokyo, sporting the Japanese kanji for ‘evil’ on his back to remind him of the Sekihotai and his hate for the Meiji government. Eventually, he crossed paths with a redheaded rurouni named Kenshin, who once was the legendary assassin of the Ishin Shishi, Hitokiri Battousai. He was originally hired to kill the man, although all he really wanted to do was beat him in a fight because Kenshin was a former patriot. Sano might have been tough, but his street fighting ways were no match for an expert swordsman, and he was defeated in the end. Kenshin’s words after the fight managed to penetrate Sano’s thick skull, and the figher-for-hire realized that there was more to life than punching away his troubles and hating the Meiji government. He abandoned his job as a fighter-for-hire and quickly became Kenshin’s best friend and most trusted partner. He still hates the Meiji government, and he still sports the character for ‘evil’ on his back… but the character no longer just symbolizes his hate for the government but his willingness to protect the innocent and help anyone in need. Since his induction into the ‘Kenshin-gumi’ as it is sometimes called, he has mooched off of Kaoru’s cooking, racked up a considerable debt at a local restaurant that he has no way of paying off, and has assisted Kenshin in numerous fights. It’s no wonder he’s been referred to as a freeloader on numerous occasions.
Personality: Sanosuke is a pretty easy going guy. He is the epitome of ‘brawn over brain’ and likes to do any talking or negotiating with his fists. Despite no longer being a fighter-for-hire, he still enjoys a good brawl and will take any opportunity available to him to test his strength. He would never back down from a challenge, even if the odds were highly against him. Even so, he can tell when someone is stronger than him and has no problem admitting it. After all, defeating someone who is supposedly stronger than you is supposed to be a great achievement, right? Sano is your typical street thug—he gambles, drinks, brawls and curses, but he’s kind enough not to take advantage of women or people weaker than him. He does have a strong sense of justice and right and wrong, and will be one of the first to help someone in need. Sano is a source for much comic relief in the series, for he has many buttons to press and isn’t quite smart enough to counter them. The guy has a lot of pent-up anger inside from the destruction of the Sekihotai, so it isn’t that difficult to set him off. Ever since he met Kenshin though, he is getting a little bit better… and little bit more level headed. Except not really. He’ll always be hot-headed, determined and impulsive.
Other: As a hand-to-hand fighter, Sano has an immense amount of stamina. He can take direct hits and literally feel nothing (once, someone tried to stab him in the head with a hidden knife, and the weapon didn’t even leave a mark). I’ll actually be grabbing him from the point in canon where he first joins the K-gumi, so he doesn’t have the Futae no Kiwami yet, but that doesn’t mean he’s not a powerhouse. He can break rocks and chains and steel with his bare hands, so he’s definitely not a fighter to be taken lightly. He may have superhuman strength and stamina, but he’s still human, and he has his weaknesses and isn’t likely to win every fight. Every loss just spurs him to get stronger, though! Also, this is manga!Sanosuke, not to be confused with anime!Sanosuke! :D

Third Person: Prompt: Family
Life with the Kenshin-gumi was… different, Sano thought wryly to himself as he sat on the steps of the Kamiya Dojo, hot bowl of white rice in his hand, pair of chopsticks in the other. He had spent the last ten years alone, picking fights on the streets, fending for himself. He wasn’t used to having a support group living just down the street. Sure, he had made friends… but Kenshin, Kaoru and Yahiko were quite different from the other gangsters he gambled and drank with.
Currently, Kenshin was… over at the well doing laundry, as usual, while Kaoru and Yahiko practiced in the courtyard. The street thug yawned to himself as he watched the younger woman and her apprentice argue like brother and sister, and he lifted his chopsticks up to scratch at his head.
Then, suddenly, Kaoru was not longer yelling at Yahiko, but at him instead. Something about being a freeloader and not contributing anything to the dojo. Her usual speech, the young man thought wryly to himself. It wasn’t his fault he had no money. “Hey hey, Jo-chan,” Sano began as he pointed his chopsticks at Kaoru, “I’m still hungover from last night, keep it down will ya?”
This, of course, earned him a hard punch to the head courtesy of Kaoru.
Sano watched as the fiery young woman stormed away, and he lifted his free hand up to rub the painful bump on his head. “Jeez, women…” he grumbled to himself, before glancing over at Kenshin who was smiling in amusement and shaking his head. Sanosuke grinned.

Character: Talia Holderkin Fandom: Mercedes Lackey's Valdemar Series
Character Notes: History: In a time long ago there was known the land of Velgarth, a continent strewn by the wars of sorcerors and magic. A land where creatures of myth and fantasy existed by the hand of those that created them; gryphons and hertasi, man engineered creatures, some gifted with the magics of the land they were born from; others not.
The people's of this land were decimated under the magical wars and the land took back the powers it had bestowed upon its people; and so Velgarth returned the magic to its people. Streams of energy, ley-lines, make up the land and those talented enough are able to tap into its flow. These person's are known in the lands of Velgarth. Those skilled enough to call themselves Adepts are able to tap into the nodes, a place where two or more ley-lines meet.
These pockets of magical energy, acting much like flowing water, occur both naturally and un-naturally, created on ocassion by those talented (and strong) enough to do so. Magic moves from these node thorughout the land and into the Void, where it is later returned to the land where the cycle can repeat and continue.
This magic can be manipulated by those able to see it (mage sight), and many amongst those are found to be Heralds of Valdemar, one of the kingdoms that arose from the destructive magewars.
Heralds arose in Valdemar to be the overseers of its people; dispensers of justice, spies, military advisors and the only one they answered to was their King or Queen and their own peers. This arrangement was overseen by creatures at the very center of magic themselves, Companions.
Seen as graceful white horses to those that know nothing of their origins and abilities, the Companions were sent (by some unknown force) to seek out and find new Heralds, forming a bond with their newly Chosen mind-to-mind that only death could sever. At least as intelligent as the humans they Chose, they would bring back to Valdemar those of various age and sex; though most frequently those amongst their adolescent years. The only similarity (besides specific personality traits) between the Chosen was a touch of psychic ability. The continued contact with their Companion would aid in the development and recognition of the Gifts the young person held within them. Individuals were then trained to hone their abilities as much as capable.
The Monarch made the laws and the Heralds upheld them, dispensing them under the guidance of their Companions. Their were, by nature, a self-sacrificing group and knew well that many Heralds would die in the line of duty.
So the Queen of Valdemar, Selenay, ruled her people after the death of her father. Her advisor, second in importance to the Monarch themself, was Talamir, Chosen of Rolan. He was murdered while trying to begin a plan that would fix the Heir-presumptive of her spoiled a rotten nature; traits that would keep her from being Chosen by any Companion. If she was not CHosen, she would not be Monarch, as the first rule of Monarchy was that all rulers of Valdemar were also to be Heralds.
His death brought confusion to the throne, furthered as Rolan Chose a new Queen's own, an adolescent girl named Talia; a far cry from the adult or full Herald the people were expecting.
Talia is of a Border people called Holderkin, a puritanical group that discouraged the knowledge of outside things and promoted subservient women and polygamous marriages. Often punished for her self-minded ways and nonconformity, she was very ill-suited for the subordinate role that the men of her village had planned for her. Often daydreaming of becoming a Herald, she had no idea what it meant to have a Herald's Companion carry her off; thinking him instead a simple horse that had run from its Herald master.
Lesser prepared was she for the explosive gift that would emerge shortly after her arrival at the Collegium in Haven; her Gift of Empathy and MindHealing, though not MindSpeech.

Character: Nero the Sable Fandom: Final Fantasy VII: Dirge of Cerberus Character Notes: History: The details of Nero's life are all unknowns. His childhood and early teens are kept in heavily coded, classified files on a computer system that no longer functions. What has slipped out are mere garbled snippets of information about his conception, early missions, holding status and the infamous events of the previous year.
Twenty-four years ago, Professior Hojo decided to carry on with Grimiore Valentine's forgotten theories. Nero the Sable was the product of two hundred failed attempts to merge stagnant lifestream with a unborn human fetus, he was the only one to survive this risky experiment. His mother, a test subject who had already given birth to another powerful experiment, was sucked up into the void that came with the birth of her child. This other experiment, known as Weiss the Immaculate, was given the newborn infant to care for. Nero became Nero, and since a very young age, he was forced to wear increasingly complex restraints to keep his power in check. This, along with the brainchip implanted in all of DG 'patients' which prevented them from attacking the 'Restrictor', forced them to stay in line.
It is to be noted that he was trained in several forms of combat in between bouts of restraint, and under the influence of the tyrannical Restrictor, was shaped into a ruthless warrior. They were trapped in a horrible, hellish reality, and he wanted out. He rarely saw the surface, as the facility of DeepGround is far, far underground, and the one confirmed mission he was on was to retrieve the injured Genesis Rhapsodos. At this point, Weiss, Nero and several other Tsviets had agreed that this could no longer go on and began to plan a rebellion. After Genesis declined the offer to join them, they began to take matters into their own hands. Which was difficult in itself, as Weiss and Nero were restrained in separate wings of the 'hospital'.
Eventually, their golden ticket arrived. A young woman with a defective chip. With careful manipulation they lead her to defeat the Restrictor for them. Though, suddenly, the Tsviets found themselves without a leader. It is unknown if Weiss died before or after he was possessed, however he did indeed pass on - or perhaps held on due to a sophisticated life support system, however he was taken over by the neural data of Professor Hojo. In this state, Hojo convinced Nero that there was a way to restore his brother to full health, and go a step further, make him a god. Nero, in his single-minded willingness to serve and save his big brother, did not question this and took over the DeepGround, pretending to be his sibling.
DeepGround was all too eager to follow the man who had attained their freedom. Attacking all points of the world, the organization collected enough pure souls to sacrifice to create pure lifestream so that they could trick OMEGA, the ultimate weapon, into ascending and fusing with his brother. This went well, fairly well, until an attack on Kalm proved to alert the foe that would be their undoing. Vincent Valentine, holder of the protomateria, with even greater Darkness than Nero's own, made it his mission to find out the truth of his past and go after the group who was once again threatening the world.
Nero rarely left his brother's side during all of this. He left once to oversee the battle that was about to go down before their base, and again to handle an irritating thorn in his side known as Shelke Rui. This worked for a while, he stored her in his Darkness as he went back to make the necessary preparations. He was safe and settled up until Vincent arrived and easily dismissed two of the other elite Tsviets {or at least pushed them to their limits and they went over the edge on their own} in which he had to take matters into his own hands.
After an eventful battle, Nero - either overcome by his own insanity or truly hearing his brother's voice, he disappeared back to the throneroom. He encountered them again later, relaying the information of his plans, and after they make a move to attack his dearest sibling, well... Nero once again loses his mind and traps both Vincent and his companion, Yuffie, in his darkness. After discovering that Vincent has the power to escape, Nero traps him once more and takes him to a dimension in his darkness. After two more battles, a weak and exhausted Nero limps off to go see his brother and do what he can to protect him.
But upon arrival, Nero realized that his brother had awakened. Overcome by excitement, he rushed over and embraced him, begging his brother never to leave him again. Weiss, or rather, Hojo in Weiss' body informs Nero that he has no further use for him and stabs him through the chest. Nero, realizing that he has been had and that this is not his brother, glares in disbelief before he is flung across the room and left to die.
Vincent and Weiss battled shortly, Hojo went off on a tangent, leaving Nero time to assess the situation before, finally, pulling his soul from his dying body. After Hojo!Weiss was knocked aside and, for a moment, unable to move, Nero approached the confused man. Ignoring Hojo's pleas and complaints to 'stop polluting omega', Nero begs his brother to let them become one so that they would never be separated again. Weiss, from being in such close contact with an 'impure' being, was freed and after an embrace, the brothers fused together. And Weiss stumbled off to merge completely with OMEGA.
Personality: Nero is totally dependent upon his older brother. This is the first thing anyone would notice in meeting him, as the topic of his brother will come up regardless of what the conversation was about. He idolizes him to the point of worship, and to be honest, he would literally die for him. Since being separated to him his sanity has begun to unravel, and thus he is quick to latch on to anyone who has even the slightest bit of information about him and manipulate them for all their worth. Nero may sometimes act incompetent, or act purely out of passion and forget to rationalize a situation, but he is a very skilled leader and has no qualms with torture, harassment, or driving people to insanity as long as it meets his needs.
Although dependent on Weiss, he is able to hold his own. He is a strong individual and rarely buckles under pressure. Gifted with a sharp wit and the ability to deduce a person's weaknesses based upon careful, sneaky weeks of study, Nero is a deadly opponent and has no qualms about destroying lives as long as it means he is able to reunite with his sibling. These qualities are mostly negative due to the fact that he is an unhappy, untrusting creature. With those who are able to get close enough to, well, avoid the wrath of a lonely, mistreated creature.
Nero is not fond of physical contact. He prefers to keep his distance from people, and like a cat, he will come to you when he is ready, not the other way around. Boldness will me met with a barrage of darkness and attacks, though patience will be rewarded with loyalty, however temporary it may wind up being.

Character: Ggio Vega Fandom: Bleach Character Notes: History:
Ggio is one of the six Fraccion - an elite member of the Numeros, who are all Arrancar (modified Hollows, which are corrupted human souls) created by Sousuke Aizen - to serve under Barragan, who is one of the top three Espada, the strongest of the Arrancar as chosen by Aizen for his personal army. He first appeared at what would be the battle for Karakura town, attending to Barragan by bringing out his throne.
After four of his fellow Fraccion were defeated in battle by the opposing shinigami of Soul Society, in order to appease his angered lord Ggio offered for the remaining Fraccion and himself to go into battle but were halted by Captain Soifon of the Second Division and her lieutenant, Omaeda Marechiyo. Ggio challenged Soifon who was his equal in both combat style and speed, and he was so impressed with Soifon's ability that let her know his and his zanpakuto's name - Tigre Estoque - when he performed Resureccion and transformed into his true pre-Arrancar form.
Ggio dominated the battle with increased speed until Omaeda interfered and stopped him from killing Soifon. In retaliation Ggio was about to kill Omaeda with a point-blank attack when Soifon finally began her counter-attack and landed a solid kick on Ggio. After revealing that was she was merely observing an Arrancar's released form, Soifon angered Ggio to the point that he revealed his true Resureccion - Tigre Estoque El Sable - which was a much more hulking form than his previous nimble figure. Before he could attack, though, Soifon pierced him internally in the same spot twice in his right lung with her zanpakuto, Suzumebachi, which caused instant death.
Personality: Ggio is very much like his youthful appearance shows; he enjoys the thrill of battle and approaches fights eagerly but with a level-head. He has a no-nonsense approach to fights he doesn't find that interesting and has full confidence in himself. However, he can lose his temper when he's taken as a fool or not seriously.
Other: Ggio's concept has a very Chinese appeal with his braid and attire. While '-ggio' itself is often added onto the end of Italian names, with the 'o' denoting a male, it's spelled 'j-i-o' in katakana, which can be written in kanji with the characters for 'child' and 'king'; the latter being a possible reference to tigers, as in Asian art tigers are often drawn with the character for 'king' on their forehead, as their stripes sometimes naturally form the character. Vega is the name of the star associated with the Chinese legend of Qi Xi (or Tanabata in Japan), and also could be a reference to the Street Fighter character Vega - whom Ggio slightly resembles in his released form with a much longer, fuller braid and blades extending from his wrists.

Che... Charlotte sent me to one of the labs after I almost attacked Wonderwice again. Says I need to relieve stress in a much more 'beautiful' way than beating on lower Arrancar of... questionable state-of-minds. Anyway, I found this page on the tab next to the 'Busty Asian Babes' one - I'm guessing Grimmjow's been here since he's into that kinda thing and Avirama can't be trusted with electronic devices with a higher intelligence than his own.
So, like... I don't even remember why I was so angry at the kid anyway. He hadn't even really done anything this time - just sitting there, drooling and chewing on his sleeves and not really showing any kind of reaction when I threatened to rip his tongue out since he wasn't replying to me anyway.
...Okay. He creeps me out. I mean, I know us Arrancar aren't all what you'd call normal (Charlotte really needs to learn that there are other kinds of underwear besides thongs goddamn), but Wonderwice... He doesn't do anything, he's not afraid of anyone, and when he looks at you it's like he's seeing nothing and everything all at once.
Hmph. Must be why that jerk Tousen likes him so much, s'not like he can see that creepy stare.
...UGH. What the hell, I don't do this sappy deep shit. That's for girls like Luppi. ...Hm, wonder if Grimm's got the subscription to Busty Asian Babes...?
Third Person: Prompt: Solitude
Since rising out of the sea of Menos and coming into his own awareness, Ggio had been on his own. It was just the way the world was; kill or be killed, eat or be eaten.
He was not one to simply 'not be'; so he hunted, and hunted, growing more owerful, more into his own. Survivor. Hunter. His form grew into a strong and fluid figure that faintly spoke of kings from a time he could not remember.
Then the day came when Aizen found him.
Would you like to become strong?
There was nothing else he could be, so he followed Aizen, finally standing on his own two feet as the Arrancar Ggio Vega.
But he was just one of many of the hundreds of Arrancar Aizen had created, his own army. Ggio refused to be a faceless soldier and so he clawed and clawed his way through the masses, until the day Lord Barragan stood before him.
I only recognize the best. Serve me.
It should be - was - an honor to serve under one of the most powerful in Hueco Mundo. By rank, that meant he also was one of the strongest, right?
But even looking among the Fraccion who served with him - the proud rose, masked insanity, stern giant, mad eagle and solemn mammoth - even with the colorful titles, he felt it wasn't enough.
The golden tiger...
The others may have been content in their current existence, but Ggio... He may have roared his way out of the sea of nothingness, but disregarding rank...
Ggio Vega. Tigre Estoque.
He tried hard not to think that the only things he truly had were his names.

Character: Edward Fandom: Infinite Undiscovery Character Notes:
History:
(Sounds like the whole damn game, I know, but I reckon these bits are important.)
Edward's world was once under the control of an organisation known as the Order, who chained the moon to the world and tried to rule the earth with an iron fist. Edward was one of the earliest to pledge his loyalty to Sigmund the Liberator, who swore to free the world of its chains; from the very first time he met Sigmund, Edward held Sigmund in awe and wanted only to please him, and even in canon this devotion practically manifests itself as a kind of love.
When Capell, a stranger with an unusual resemblance to Sigmund, arrives and joins the liberation force, Edward takes an instant dislike to him; Sigmund seems inclined to trust Capell straight away which angers and upsets Edward. After all, hasn't he devoted himself to the Liberator, and now this stranger turns up and gets given all the important jobs, jobs which Edward himself should be doing? Throughout their following adventures, Edward's jealousy of Capell can easily be seen, and even other members of the liberation force tell Edward to calm down.
During one dramatic showdown, Sigmund gives his life to save Capell; Edward constantly blames Capell for this, even though the matter really wasn't Capell's fault. Capell bears no ill will towards Edward, and it's only when Capell saves Edward's life when he turns into a monster that the pair start to become friends.
When the world has finally been freed from the control of the Order, Edward becomes the ruler of Burguss, and is aided in his tasks by some of the companions which he met on the adventure.
Personality:
Edward is stubborn, headstrong and moody. His conviction is strong but he is capable of being wrong on occasion - not that he would ever readily admit this. He is a reluctant ruler, not liking all the administration and paperwork that comes with a position of power, but he acknowledges that someone has to do it.
He is a good fighter, using a large sword in battle, although he doesn't show off his strength or use a weapon unless absolutely necessary. He may seem stern and stony-faced at times, but in truth he possesses a good humour and has learned to value the worth of true friendship. He says what he really thinks most of the time, even if it leads people to dislike what he says.
Other:
I'd be playing Edward as post end-of-game, and saying that he was hopelessly in love with Sigmund. The admiration and devotion he shows for Sigmund during the game can easily be viewed as romantic love, and although he's not quite come to terms with the fact that Sigmund is dead, he is at least a little closer to accepting what has happened and working towards building a future for the world.
Finally, five minutes to actually sit down and think. I've been up to my eyeballs in the price of potatoes for the past four hours, and if I have to approve one more request for a shipment of lima beans I think I'll be seeing dancing vegetables in my sleep. Whose idea was it to make me the king of Burguss, anyway?
Hmm. At least Kiriya's not going to be around for the feast this evening. He claims it's due to a headache, but I think he's still pining for Savio more than he'd admit to... not that I can begrudge him that, I suppose.
At least all he has to wait for is for Savio to wake up. Some of our friends won't ever wake from dreams again...
...
Anyway. That's enough of tapping away and forming words on this thing. I should probably test my sword arm again, before all it becomes good for is announcing toasts and shifting beads on an abacus. I miss the good old days...
Third Person: (Solitude)
Shifting uncomfortably in his seat, Edward scowled as he felt a small hardness jabbing into his side, and without even thinking about it reached down to pull the offending item from his belt...
A small, carved leaf, cut from the trees of the forest where they'd rescued Capell. A leaf carved by Sigmund.
No matter that five years had passed since Sigmund's death, the memory of his passing still cut like a knife wound, a painful, stabbing reminder of greatness gone from the world, a bright flame extinguished in the blink of an eye. And no matter how many times Edward told himself that Sigmund was gone, he couldn't help but think that maybe, just maybe, he was mistaken, that he'd walk through the door, and things would be just as they were.
He closed his eyes, willing the hot tears that threatened to spring there to dissipate, that the crushing despair he felt within his chest was nothing more than indigestion; it didn't help. With a small, anguished whimper, he fell back into his chair, clutching at the small carving as if his life depended upon it - as it once had depended on the leaf's creator.
"Sigmund..." he whispered, tears beginning to spill down his cheeks, choking sobs building in his throat. "I swore to follow you until the end, and now I can't even do that right..."

Character: Mickey Mouse Fandom: Mickey, Donald, Goofy: The Three Musketeers Character Notes: History:Once upon a time, there were three little orphans in France. Though these were kind and sweet little orphans, they one day found themselves being mugged by three wicked scoundrels! One of the orphans, named Mickey, valiantly stood up for his friends, but was no match for the older, stronger brutes. Fortunately, they were saved by The Royal Musketeers! The orphans watched in amazement as the fight went on,inspired by the bravery, power, and loyalty they showed...When the was over, one of The Royal Musketeers noticed Mickeys admiring gaze, and bestowed upon his hat.[And several autographs] It was then that the orphans vowed to one day become Royal Musketeers!
The story then jumps ahead,as several Royal Musketeers train under the morning sun,an aspiring sight to all...
...including the three janitors, our orphans.
Alas, for all their hopes and dreams,Mickey and his friends were not cut out to be Royal Musketeers,so said Captain Pete, who was in charge of the Musketeers, after all. Goofy was not the sharpest sword,Donald was a coward, and Mickey...well,Mickey was small. Very small. But his heart was the biggest anyone ever saw-he never gave up on his dream, and encouraged his friends to do the same. Though even he felt a sting of disappointment after Petes constant put-downs...
Wait, what was this? It was all a test,Pete says? And they passed? Well zippiety-doo-dah-day! At last, they were Royal Musketeers-and not just regular ones either...they would be guarding the Princess of France,Princess Minnie, personally! Unfortunately, attacking a suit of ordinary armor didnt make the greatest first impression...But at least they remembered to salute in front of the beautiful princess-
...The,ah,very beautiful princess. Um. Oh~
...An enemy! ...Oh,no,they just attacked her lady-in-waiting. Whoops. Well,at least the Princess forgave them...the veeeery beautiful Princess...
Well,to cut a long story short, the three bumbling Musketeers certainly earn their titles, and prove that though they have their weaknesses, when they work together, nothing and no one can stop them! But what fun would it be to go from the end-I intend to start him from his janitorial days, and let the movie run its course.
Personality: Mickey is a lovable little mouse, and he is always willing to extend a hand to his fellow man. Since he is the apparent leader for Goofy and Donald,he shows great leadership skills and knows how to rally a crowd. Despite having few practices with a sword, the skill of a blade comes naturally to him,as he is a quick learner. He always assumes the best of everyone, even if they are being rude or mean to him. Unfortunately, this trait also makes him quite gullible, and he often finds himself easily deceived and duped. But such mistakes don't stop him for long-he works hard not just for himself, but also for his friends, who mean the world to him. A cheery,happy-go-lucky little janitor.
Other: Since he is from France,he can speak French! But for the muns sake, also English. Oui!
First Person (entry type): Uh….hello Can anyone read this Well, gosh…if anyone can, I found this thing when it fell off a traveling wagon, but I can’t find where the wagon went! Oh boy…
If you’re looking for it, just let me know, I can definitely return it! It kind of doesn’t feel right to get this without paying for it…Donald says to sell it, and Goofy…well, I think he would break it if left alone with it for a few minutes. That just leaves me!
Me…oh, right! My name is Mickey Mouse, and you can usually find me near the palace! Just look for a small mouse with a tattered hat…with a mop…heh heh…oh boy.
Third Person:The cold sting of a drop of water from the ceiling above startled Mickey out of his latest daydream. After a few blinks, he remembered the task at hand, and looked down at the dirty floor below. Time to get back to work… he shrugged idly, not really minding the chore. In fact,he even smiled, tightning his grip on the mop before him, dunking it into the bucket of water besides him,and sloshing it around on the dirt and footprints. Just another day to get through, just another day closer to becoming a Royal Musketeer!
It was all too easy to get distracted again, seeing himself in the brilliant red and blue uniform, blade in hand, and courage in his heart. "Ha ha!" he shouted with a laugh, swinging his mop-sword around, defeating pretend enemies from pretend innocents. To parry,to guard,to...step in the bucket, trip, and spill the water everywhere, and land on his tail.
A few more blinks again, sitting in the mess...oh well. Just another day to get through...

Character: Sora Hashiba Fandom: Sukisyo/Sukisho Character Notes: History:
Hashiba Sora is the main character of the anime and BL game Suki na mono wa dakara shouganai. [Sukisho/Sukisyo for short] He fell out of a window at school [I believe it was either fourth or third story]. Luckily, he didn't sustain any major injuries, however once he was released from the hospital, he found that all his past memories were gone.
This is bad, especially considering he has met up again with two childhood friends. Honjo Matsuri and Fujimori Sunao. Matsuri is not so much affected as his new roommate, Sunao is. Sunao claims to hate Sora and tends to hit him or yell at him, mostly for no reason at all.
Sora then begins to fall for Sunao and wants to know more about his past in the hopes he can remember Sunao. However, his past is more tortured then he had thought, so his guardians Minato Shinichirou and Nanami Kai tend to keep things from him.
He then desperately tries to get the truth from Sunao who finally explains to him. When Sora learns of it he blames himself for the things that happened, even though it wasn't his fault.
Sora also learns that Sunao has an alter ego named Ran, who has deep magenta eyes and he says is more "charming". Sora also has an alter ego by the name of Yoru, whose right eye turns gold. He also finds that the two are lovers and were created to endure the cruel treatment they recieved when forced to live at Aizawa's lab. Yoru, while Ran's lover, does not seem to be above flirting with anyone else. In the game he is seen flirting with various characters, Sora included. The anime focuses more on Yoru and Ran, however, and he isn't as flirtacious, and is more loyal and protective.
And here are the spoilers.
The truth of the matter comes to light when after being explained what happened, Sora finally regains his memories back. He speaks to Yoru about what happened and Yoru reveals that he was the one that threw Sora out of the window, because at the time Aizawa had him cornered. He says it was the only thing he could think of to save Sora from remembering things that he thought Sora wouldn't be able to handle.
Sora leaves on his own to confront Aizawa and rescue Sunao. When Sunao finally reaches Sunao, he tells him that he is sorry, even though Sunao explains he was in the wrong. Aizawa reveals that the reason Sora abandoned Sunao at the labs when they were being rescued by Shinichirou and Nanami, was because Sora was already under the influence of one of his experiments. The experiment was more of a mind control, and when a command is triggered, Sora will react. The command that seemed implanted in Sora was "Let go", which was why Sora let go of his hand many years ago.
Aizawa repeats this command to Sora in the present, but Sora overcomes it. He takes Sunao's hand and escapes the burning lab, leaving Aizawa and his son behind. Skip ahead a little to the future, and you got yourself a group of friends. Sunao is still as obstinate as always, but bares no hatred towards Sora. Both of their split personalities seem to be gone, as they no longer need to be protected.
Sora is sometimes a bit obstinate, and comes off as a sort of harsh character for those not inside his head. At school he is feared by his classmates, though at the same respected by them. He is extremely stubborn, and usually goes somewhere to think things over that he doesn't understand. He seems very close minded at first, thinking that love between guys is strange where his friend revealed to him he was in love with a guy. Though he is definately not at all homophobic, as he remains friends with him anyways. (And lulz, becomes a homo himself)
Like his roommate, he tends to argue and his fuse is lit quite easily. When push comes to shove he generally shoves right back, though is shown off guard when being pushed around by Sunao. He is loud, and prone to outbursts when angered or confused. He's a bit slow at times, but an extremely caring individual who loves his friends. Even if one is a hyperactive blonde who forces him into doing what he doesn't want to do, and a hot headed roommate who enjoys biting his head off.
Other:
HE'S GOT A PINK STUFFED ELEPHANT. JUST THOUGHT YOU SHOULD BE AWARE THAT HE IS JUST AS MUCH GAY AS THE OURAN HOSTS.

After working hard for the Jack-of-all-trades, I finally had more money then I knew what to do with. So I bought a computer. This is the computer age, right? I didn't want to be the only one on campus who was computer retarded.
It's pretty cool. I can take it anywhere and I got little Toshizou stickers I found in one of my pencil boxes all over it!!
So yeah, there's some cool stuff on the internet. My friend from school says I can watch all the episodes of CSI I missed on tv. (Since we don't have a tv anyways. orz) And I just happened to stumble on this community. SO HI EVERYONE!!
My name is Hashiba Sora by the way.
Third Person:
The first thing Sora heard when he awoke that morning, or rather was woken up by, was the sound of the alarm clock on the shelf behind him. He growned and turned over in his sleep, his hand snaking around the shelf, trying to find that damn alarm clock and turn it off. Finally, that horrible noise that woke him every morning was gone. His roommate stirred in his sleep, but didn't wake. Whatever, it wasn't like it was his problem anyways.
He pulled off the blankets and grabbed a towel. His usual morning ritual consisted of getting up,taking a shower, then breakfast in the cafeteria. It didn't matter if it was a school day or not, he followed this pattern religiously. He swung the towel over his shoulder and stopped at the door, just opening it and tilting it open slightly, just enough to peer through it. He could think of only one other person who got up earliar as him, who may as well have just been the sun himself, and he definately did not want to run into him on the way to the showers.
Seeing that everything was clear, the boy tip toed out of the room and quietly closed the door. And then he ran like hell. Some people got up earliar than him, and were standing in the hallways, just chatting, or getting a snack from the vending machines. Some had the doors to their rooms open and were doing other things. Some people didn't want to waste a good saturday morning, and some just slept right through it, like his roommate. He'd barely even made it to the end of the hall when he heard those two words, yelled rather loudly for eight in the morning.
"GOOD MORNING!!"
How could such a cheerful greeting envoke such horror and doom? The spikey haired teen thought to himself, as he abruptly came to a stop. Even though some were used to the boisterous greeting of their blonde dorm leader, everyone turned to look at the teen running up to Sora now. When the hell was he spotted, he wanted to ask out loud, but knew his question would just be brushed aside anyways.
"Morning Matsuri." He replied, the blonde now standing before him. Yet he didn't sound or seem at all too enthused.

Character: Lucy Miller Fandom: The Santa Clause (3) Character Notes:
Lucy is part of the quickly growing Calvin family, by association. Lucy is the spunky, spritely daughter of Neil and Laura. Laura happens to be Scott Calvin's (Santa!) ex wife, and the mother of Charlie (who is Scott Calvin's son), therefore making her Charlie's half brother, and thus family, by again, by association. Confused? Good! Let's proceed. Lucy first makes her appearance in the Santa Clause 2 as a seven year old. She suspects Scott is Santa, even though she doesn't know for certain. It's probably the reindeer that did it, don't you think? The movie doesn't provide a WHOLE lot of background information to her, the story is very much centralized on Charlie, Santa, and Carol (the soon to be MRS.CLAUS but she doesn't know it...yet.), so her characterization waits until movie 3.
The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause centralizes itself around Jack Frost and Santa (again, Scott Calvin). This time Lucy is a bit more prominent in her role. Her love of snow globes is portrayed early in the movie, with Santa giving her one of herself, hugging a snowman. The snowman turns pink, because her hugs are so full of love. A little cheesy, but it's a holiday movie, what else is expected? At any rate, it is because of Lucy that Neil and Laura end up at the North Pole(and ultimately frozen solid by Jack Frost, thanks a lot, buddy!) to spend the holidays. Lucy is rather persuasive about it, and Laura eventually chimes in (along with Neil - who throws the final guilt trip) and they talk Santa into letting them come. This is her first trip to the North Pole, so naturally, a girl Lucy's age (11!) would be very excited, and that she is! She is naturally very excited to see the North Pole, and while things are rapidly heading downhill due to Jack Frost's tinkering(who also threatened her and scared her half to death towards the end of the movie, really, not a nice thing to do to a little girl!) and meddling, Lucy makes herself at home. Lucy, along with Laura and are a huge comfort for Carol.
Lucy happily admits she believes in the legendary figures, like Santa, the Easter Bunny, the Tooth Fairy. But...ah...that Jack Frost character? She's never heard of him.

Character: Jing (and by extension, Kir) Fandom: King of Bandits: Jing
Character Notes: History: Very little is known about the history of the infamous King of Bandits, even to his lifelong partner. What is known is this: he lost his mother at a very young age, purportedly between the age of 5 and 10. His father has never been mentioned. He was born with a lame right arm that was somehow cured by a mysterious gun, the Crime Royale, that his mother arranged to send to him before her death (this gun was promptly broken in the first battle he tried to use it in). He acquired his partner, the talking albatross Kir, on the same day that he received the Crime Royale, and the two have been inseparable ever since. He spent at least part of his childhood living in the rural town of Amarcord. He leaves heist notes announcing his target whenever possible. He always wears his trademark orange-yellow trench coat (except when in disguise), and he always steals what he's after, one way or another. His title is well-known throughout his world, even if his name and his appearance (and age, for that matter) isn't.
Personality: Jing is a very mysterious individual, and at times he seems almost inhuman in that he's the living perpetrator of his own myth. He bleeds, and gets angry, and tired, and is taken by surprise, and bickers with his partner -- but Jing is just so adaptable, so given to spur-of-the-moment improvisation, that almost everything he does seems intentional, or at the very least expected. He's a pro at collecting information; his knowledge of people, places, and things on his home world seems encyclopaedic at times, and he often withholds this information unless musing to himself or offering an explanation to Kir. He knows when to listen and let people talk, and those meeting him for the first time may think him passive -- but this is only a veneer, as Jing is very much capable of taking situations into his own hands, especially when he thinks an injustice is being inflicted.
As far as injustices go, Jing never approves of them, and makes a point of bringing down or making a fool of those who would use others for their own ends -- often teaching them a lesson in the process. More and more often, as he gets older, his heists seem to involve "stealing" certain items by destroying them rather than taking them, and inverting the corrupt societies they represent in the process. He never kills, and he never takes anything a person's can't afford to lose, even though they may think otherwise at the time.
Kir, by contrast, is a fairly simplistic soul: despite his avian status, he has a marked weakness for attractive human females, and will hit on anything in a skirt at the drop of a hat (occasionally at very inappropriate times). He's inquisitive, a wisecracker, loves treasure, and often scolds Jing for being too enigmatic or secretive. He's unflaggingly loyal to Jing, and the two share an equal partnership in every sense of the word, often acting brotherly towards each other in the way they bicker and support each other in turn.
Other: Being the King of Bandits, Jing possesses all the skills one would think that profession would entail, and then some. He can pick virtually any lock with ease, is a master at escape routes, can move silently as a cat, has incredible stamina, and is a mean duellist when it comes down to it (he has a retractable blade that he wears in a sheath on his right arm beneath his coat sleeve). He has a number of unexpected contacts in cities all over his world (most notable is Postino, the perpetually unexpected postman), and can improvise with a number of weapons in a pinch.
Jing's most powerful and useful ability, however, is the Kir Royale, an explosive energy attack formed by Kir after fusing to Jing's right arm. This attack is common to Kir's species, and can only be used while Kir and Jing are fused. Kir can still talk while in this form, although his appearance changes, and attacks can be augmented by such tactics as feeding Kir hot sauce. Similarly, if Kir has suffered a throat injury, the attack will be weak, off-target, or simply impossible.
As a total aside, Jing and Kir love word play. Expect to be seeing a lot of it.
First Person (entry type): This is a pretty interesting development. Although with the way technology's been advancing and everyone's been expanding, it was only a matter of time before the two collided. I guess other worlds count as a prime buyer's market. Wonder if there's any interesting things for sale?
Better hope those expansions don't involve any hostile takeovers, Jing. Looks to me like this place is just a convention of crazies. Did you see that post by the fatso in the turtle shell?
Maybe threats of universal domination are just how people say hello on his world.
Yeah, well, if you ask me, his time'd be better spent reviewing his legions of minions. Like tyrant, like toadie, I always say. And I bet his IQ couldn't beat a dice roll.
If you're looking for a bigger gamble, Kir, there's some other posts here that might interest you.
No way, Jing, you're not dragging me into this mess of weirdos.
Oh? Even the female ones?
Wha-?! YOWZA! Helloooo, lovely ladies! Why don't you all tell Kir here your a/s/l~?
Third Person: It's perhaps his most defining aspect, if not his most unusual.
Thieves in general are expected to have one of two appearances: stealthy, or scruffy. The latter are present in abundance in the City of Thieves, a veritable melting pot of vagabonds, ruffians, fingersmiths, and plain ol' muggers. The former are less numerous, but easy to find if you know where to look, such as the sleek, leather-clad Alleyway Cat burglars in Schnapps.
But standing out? Generally not a desireable fashion statement for those usually hoping to go unnoticed.
Standing out is dangerous. It's a challenge, a direct taunt in regards to anyone who might be looking for him. It's an "I don't have to hide from you", it's a "You couldn't catch me if you tried".
Perhaps most daringly, it's an "I can be who I want".
And perhaps it's for all those very reasons that the King of Bandits, who could possess all the treasures of the world, puts such a high value on what, to anyone else, is a simple orange trenchcoat.

Character: Reverie Planetarian (Yumemi Hoshino) Fandom: Planetarian: The Reverie of a Little Planet/Chiisana Hoshi no Yume Character Notes: History: Reverie Planetarian is, as her name suggests, a member of staff at the Flowercrest Deparment Store's planetarium. However, you could say that her planetarium has had few customers of late - after all, her world is a post-apocalyptic one. Mankind has been virtually wiped out by war, leaving behind toxic rain falling from ever-cloudy skies and abandoned sarcophagi metropolises. The few humans left in the world would find it exceedingly hard to visit her, as killing machines produced for the wars that ruined the planet are many in number, and now attack anyone they can find.
As such, Reverie has spent the last 30 years alone, after the other department store workers were evacuated. As a robot, and therefore only another piece of equipment, she was left behind, completely alone. (There were a couple of children that found her once, but they had been told their parents had become stars in the sky, and wanted to see them at the planetarium. That was before things got really bad.) Due to the tiny amount of power the department store's back-up generator is able to produce, Reverie is only operational for one week a year.
Reverie is unaware of how terrible the world has become, however, as she is unable to connect to the various remote facilities and databases that would update her with such information. She can be told about the current situation of the world, but she will be unable to retain it correctly.
Personality: Due to being ever so slightly broken, Reverie is an extremely chatty robot. Her talkative nature can be somewhat annoying, but her sweet manner coupled with this defect made her so endearing to her colleagues that they did not repair it. She is very hardworking, even when alone, as she will stand by the doors of the planetarium and practise her speech, hoping to draw in any potential customers. As a robot programmed specifically to work in the planetarium, her knowledge of the stars and the mythology surrounding them is vast.
Reverie follows The Three Laws of Robotics (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Three_Laws_of_Robotics), however, "her" Second Law is somewhat loose when the order is to be quiet. Nevertheless, she obeys the others perfectly, almost to an extreme: she will become incredibly distressed if she thinks she has even simply inconvenienced a human being. Obeying these laws makes her happy, and sees it as her duty to protect and care for humans where she can. Her greatest wish is that, even if she should "die", she will go to the same heaven as humans, so that she can serve them even then.
Other: As Reverie is only operational one week a year, I'll have to mess with her timelines. A week for her will be a month in real time, and at the end of a "week", she'll skip forward 51 weeks to the next operational week.
Also, I ask that her world be "quarantined", that is, nobody be able to world-hop to or from it. Her isolation is fairly key to her character. (She is more-or-less the only appable character from her canon, apart from the Junker, but if somebody does apply for him, I'm open to his wishes on the subject.) Her world is practically inhospitable and on the verge of collapse, so it isn't too hard to imagine.

This is the help and support center, isn't it? I haven't been able to connect for such a long time. I thought that perhaps I had become even more broken. After all, I haven't been able to run the proper diagnostics without being connected to you.
I have a number of things to report! Firstly, it seems that the connection between departments is malfunctioning. I can't get through to anyone. Secondly, I cannot access the updated databases. Thirdly, I haven't been able to find any information on holidays or transport malfunctions, and yet, we haven't had any customers for quite some time. Fourthly...

Third Person: Solitude.
It was closing time, and it had been another whole day with no customers. It didn't matter that all her colleagues had gone on a nice long vacation, Reverie was still capable of dealing with any customers that should come by. But there hadn't been any. Not today, and not yesterday, and not the day before, and not the day before that...
She quickly inspected the gift shop for any mess that she could clear up (but with no customers here today, there wasn't any), and then did the same in the theatre (and there was none here, either).
"What do you think of the planetarium?" she asked nobody in particular, as she walked around, double-checking for anything she could do, "That beautiful twinkling of eternity that will never fade, no matter when." She stopped to adjust a sign that always seemed to slip, every day. Satisfied that it was back in its correct position, she continued checking, and continued practising. "All the stars in all the sky are waiting for you," she said to herself, with a hint of pride.

Amy knew how it felt to be alone. Did she like it? Most of the time, yes. She was a bit awkward with other (was she still human? She hesitated to use the word "people") creatures around. Except for Raphael. Her adopted father. Of course, her savior. He did a lot of things for her, Amy couldn't forget him.
For the most part, she didn't mind walking the lone hallways of the castle. Her shadow was the only company she had, but that was alright. She could see torches flare outside, turning the night sky into daylight. That made her afraid, for what she didn't know.
But she had Alboine, and her adopted father was coming back at any moment. She could wait and Alboine would save her from any attackers. Amy was well trained in sword fighting so the rapier served her well.
Being alone made her think...and that was the only scary thing about it. She could look at any topic, think about it for long periods of time. Amy often did so and in this she found a way to lock her emotions away from the world.
No one would see them again, for if she couldn't derive meaning from them who could? (Or perhaps she was afraid, but she would never admit that weakness.)

Character: Toshiro Hitsugaya Fandom: Bleach Character Notes: History: Hitsugaya comes from the largest part of the soul society; Rukongai (west side; first district). He lived with his grandmother and his friend Momo Hinamori; with whom he's always been very close and protective of. Growing up in the district he really only had his grandmother and momo; as everyone else was afraid of him - and thought of him as being very cold.
Toshiro also met his future lieutenant; Rangiku Matsumoto for the first time in his home district as well. It was the first night he encountered Rangiku that he had a dream about his power; his Zanpakuto spirit. Toshiro has always known of his power; but it was after this night that he decided to become a shinigami. It turned out that his Reiatsu (a shinigami's spiritual energy) was out of control and actually leaking. It caused so much trouble that Hitsugaya had actually managed to freeze his own grandmother; and if he didn't get it controlled; he would possibly kill her.
Soon after Hitsugaya entered the Shinigami academy he graduated even at his young age and became the youngest captain of the history of the Soul Society for the Gotei 13. Personality: For his age; Toshiro is very mature and serious. He often disproves of slacking and goofing off. Despite this; he is often mistaken for a elementary-grade child in the human world; and has a strong dislike for 'childish' things.
He find's it annoying when anyone calls him anything but Captain Hitsugaya; though Momo and Jushiro Ukitake often call him Shiro-chan which means "Whitey" or "Snowy"; in reference to his hair. Toshiro also has a huge fondness for sleep; believing that will make him grow. He strongly believes 'a child who sleeps will grow up' and works very hard so he can get back to his afternoon naps. Other: Toshiro's Zanpaktu is the strongest of the element (water/ice) in the Soul Society and his sword; which harbors his Zanpaktu, is [literally] as big as he is. He has quite a few little quirks; as well. His favorite food is sweet natto, and he's so good with spinning tops that he was the local champion (undefeated). He's considered a boy genuis; as well as an embodiment of a heavenly guardian.
First Person (entry type): Is Matsumoto around here..? Where is that woman at, anyway. She left the office a mess and all her work is unfinished! Some lieutenant... she better not be getting drunk again with Shuhei and Kira. Who am I kidding, she is. While I'm here... I might as well try to see if any of the captains are here. So... Anyone? I think it's best I stay around for a while and collect information..
Third Person: So much for the afternoon nap. No, there was no time now that Matsumoto had run off to go drink with the eleventh division – again. The boy captain sat the papers down with an exhausted sigh, his eyes heavy with sleep. He had become a shinigami to learn to control his reiatsu. It was getting out of control before he entered the shinigami academy, and was only a matter of time before he killed; from something within him he couldn’t even control. He couldn’t risk killing his own grandmother; or anyone else.
He had Momo with him now, and Rangiku. Despite their differences; they were close, and he had to protect her now too – and he would with every ounce of strength in his body. Granny, Momo… you shouldn’t have to be in danger. His eyes lit up in determination. He had to get stronger and if it were possible then he would get there. He had control over his own spiritual energy now of course, but the people he loved would always be in danger in one way or another.
He would freeze the world himself before letting those he cared for – that cared for him, be left for dead.

He did attend the Academy and was a member of the Irken Elite earlier on in his life. Aside from that, it's likely he was cloned (like all other Irkens) and led a relatively normal existence as an Irken soldier. Personality: Red, whether through a cruel streak or just because he thinks he's better then everyone, tends to be rather arrogant and condescending to those he considers beneath him (which is practically everyone shorter then him). He is intelligent, though, and knows when and how to take charge in a crisis situation. He is also very fond of snack food and somewhat lazy most of the time, as he spends most of his time lounging around and eating said snacks. Also enjoys puppets and lasers. Shares the typical Irken xenophobia.
So, apparently, I've discovered some sort of inter-dimensional... talking... web... thing! How amusing. Not quite as amusing as bulldozing planets of course, but then again what is? Of course, it does seem to be inhabited by... things. Ugly things at that. But, they're all shorter and far inferior to me, so it doesn't really matter! Maybe if they're intelligent enough we can actually, y'know, use them for something.
And if not, we can always just ship them off to the candy mines of Aztor IV!
Although using them as fry-cooks is also an option...
Third Person:
Red sighed and took a long, delicious slurp of his soda. Another day, another planet conquered. More inferior beings wiped from the face of universe. Ho-hum. He tapped one long finger against the arm of his sofa, thinking. Really, they were just cruising along right now. Nothing of importance or amusement to do. Then again, they also haden't heard from Zim in a while, which meant that they were due for a call soon or the annoying little "Invader" was finally dead. Hopefully the latter.
Still, now was not the time to dwell on the little twerp, however. He was distracted by the horrible, horrible sound of his straw sucking up nothing but air. He frowned at the cup and then tossed it aside. The Tallest glanced around for a moment and then stabbed a thing finger towards one of the serving drones, “Hey! You! Another soda, and make it snappy!” The drone nodded and scurried off as Red eased further back into his seat.
